Wallez Privacy Policy
Your finances stay on your device. Here's exactly what Wallez does and doesn't do.
Your privacy is our priority
Wallez is a personal finance management app designed to help you track your income and expenses. All your financial data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or share any of your personal or financial information.
Your transactions, categories, notes, and all other data remain completely private and under your control. You can export your data at any time and delete it from the app whenever you choose.
Data storage
All your financial data is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms. We do not transmit your financial data to any servers or third parties. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
We do not have access to your transactions, income, expenses, or any other financial information you enter into the app.
No advertising or data sharing
Wallez does not display any advertisements. We do not collect or share your data with advertising networks or any third-party services for marketing purposes.
Analytics for app improvement
To improve the user experience and understand how users interact with Wallez, we use Firebase Analytics. This service collects anonymous usage data such as which screens you visit, how long you use the app, and which features you use most.
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data to help us understand general user behavior patterns. For example, we can see that "X number of users visited the Dashboard screen" or "Y number of users added a transaction." This information helps us improve features that are frequently used and remove or redesign features that aren't helpful.
Important: Analytics data does NOT include any of your personal financial information, transaction amounts, categories, notes, or any other sensitive data you enter into the app.

Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix app crashes and technical issues. When the app crashes, Crashlytics automatically sends us anonymous technical information such as device type, operating system version, and error logs. This helps us identify and fix bugs quickly to provide you with a stable app experience.
Crashlytics does NOT collect any of your financial data or personal information.
Firebase Performance Monitoring
We use Firebase Performance Monitoring to track app performance metrics such as app startup time, screen loading times, and network request performance. This helps us optimize the app to run smoothly on all devices.
No personal or financial data is collected through performance monitoring.

Wallez may request the following permissions to function properly:
- Storage/File Access: To export your financial data to CSV files and import data from CSV files.
- Internet: Only used for Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring. No financial data is transmitted.
We only request permissions that are essential for the app's core functionality.
